Handmade Wooly Mammoth Tooth Fountain Pen.
Handmade Wooly Mammoth Tooth Fountain Pen.
Handmade in Cornwall, UK
Hold tens of thousands of years of natural history in your hand. Hand-turned in our Cornish workshop, this bespoke fountain pen pairs vibrant, hand-finished resins with genuine, fossilized Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) molar tooth. The distinct, rhythmic bands of the mammoth's tooth enamel create a striking, organic pattern—ensuring that no two pens are ever alike.
A Piece of Prehistoric History
The mammoth tooth used in this pen dates back to the Pleistocene age (approximately 10,000 to 50,000 years BP), excavated from the frozen terrain of Northern Europe and Far East Russia. Stabilized to perfection by experts at Raffir APS, this ancient material has been given a second life as a functional work of art.
